By leaving your item it is understood that you are in agreement with our terms and conditions:

We will provide you with an estimate for work as soon as possible, this is subject to change following jeweller inspection. Where work cannot be completed in the initial agreed estimate, we will notify you as soon as possible and no work will be done until agreed by the client. There is no obligation to accept and proceed.

Items will only be returned after full payment is received. You must accept that you must reasonably inspect your item on collection to ensure acceptable condition and satisfactory work. We cannot be held responsible for subsequent damage that occurs once your item leaves our shop. Collection and payment indicate that the client is satisfied with the work.

Upon collection you need to provide the original receipt, and you may be asked for ID. Items will not be released to persons other than the client, unless formally agreed with the client in advance. Payment is due within 28 days of completion; we assume no responsibility for items not collected within three months following completion and you acknowledge and agree that items not claimed within this timeframe may be disposed of or sold to recoup our costs.

We work with the upmost care and attention and will do our best to make you aware of any obvious risks before repair. We ask you to be mindful that no work is free of risk, and you therefore agree to the commencement of work at your own risk. There are times when parts and materials may break or fall apart during work due to wear and tear, we cannot accept liability for such breakages as they are beyond our control and cannot reasonably be foreseen.

Precious stones are particularly vulnerable during repairs due to their structure, and existing and natural flaws make them susceptible to fracture, especially during unsetting and resetting. All due care will be taken, but we cannot be held responsible for the replacement of any broken or damaged stones.

Watches are not guaranteed as water resistant after a battery change, unless a water resistant test has been requested and paid for.

We offer a 3-month warranty from date of completion on repairs, and original receipt must be produced. Any warranty will be limited to the exact repair as done by us, and does not cover damage or deterioration due to accident, misuse or mishandling. Any work carried out in the warranty period does not extend the original warranty period.

All second-hand jewellery has been inspected by our goldsmith and is judged fit for purpose, it may however have signs of wear and minor imperfections. It is sold as seen on inspection prior to purchase. We will warranty for 28 days from the date of purchase, this does not cover damage or deterioration due to accident, misuse or mishandling. The original receipt must be provided.
